Income Tax Assistance Program to members and non-members!
Through this program, GPO Employees have taken the time to become a
certified tax preparer, and are then volunteering their time to
prepare taxes for the community. For

Red Cross Car Raffle
(NOVEMBER - JANUARY 2007)
GPO is proud to be sponsoring the Red Cross
Car Raffle again this year. The winner of the raffle will win
their choice of 5 vehicles. Tickets are $50.00 each or three
for $125.00 and are available at GPO's New Hartford and Utica
Branches. Thank you for your continued support of our many
community events!

Dolgeville Festival of Trees
(DECEMBER 2006)
GPO Federal Credit Union was asked to
participate in the Dolgeville Festival of Trees since we will soon
be a part of the Dolgeville Community. A tree was decorated
and donated to the festival. Proceeds from the sale will go to
the Village of Dolgeville's Violet Festival. |

Faxton-St. Luke's Festival
of Trees

GPO Federal Credit Union was excited to
decorate another tree for this year's Annual Festival of Trees held
at Harts Hill Inn. The proceeds from the sale of our tree went
to the Faxton-St. Luke's Foundation. Thank you to all who

GPO Announces Scholarship Winners
(JUNE 2006)
GPO Federal Credit Union has awarded $1,500 in
scholarships to two local high school seniors. This money will be
used to help finance their college education.
The students, members of GPO, were chosen
based on their outstanding academic and extracurricular
achievements.
“We are very pleased to award these
scholarships to our hard-working young members”, said Jodi
Blydenburgh, Vice President of Administration. “It proves that the
‘people helping people’ philosophy of the credit union movement is
alive and well here in the Mohawk Valley.”
The high school seniors who received the
awards were: Kelley Granato of Whitesboro and Jon Terenzetti of
Rome.
Kelley will be attending LeMoyne College in
the fall. She will major in pre-med to start a career in the medical
field.
Jon will be attending Yale University. He will
major in Economics, Political Science, and Business to start a
career in law. |
